Al Seef, Bahrain – 19 June, 2011: Seef Properties gave four disabled children a better quality of life by donating four custom-built wheelchairs worth BD 6,100 to the Bahrain Society for Parents and Friends of Disabled (BSPFD).
The wheelchairs were presented to the children and their guardians in a formal ceremony held at the Society’s headquarters on 14th June by Mr. Mohammed Yousif, Marketing and Communications representative of Seef Properties. BSPFD Board Member Dr. Dalal Al Shrooqi, BSPFD Manager Fatima Al Ashmawi, and Dr. Mohammed Ebrahim, representative of the wheelchair manufacturing company Green, was also present at the ceremony.
“Helping Bahrain’s community is a longstanding and integral part of our corporate policy,” said Mr. Robert Addison, General Manager of Seef Properties. “We are proud to contribute towards giving these four youngsters and their guardians a much better quality of life.”
Seef Properties’ active community outreach strategy identifies and supports a broad cross-section of Bahraini charities and societies to extend their programs and remain sustainable through cash donations or other means.
Most recently, it has made considerable donations to Sanabel Orphans Care, Bahrain Mobility International, Muharraq Social Welfare Centre, and the Cerebral Palsy Friendship Society to name a few.
